I am a 4th year Ph.D. Student in Economics at George Mason University. I was born and raised in Midland, MI, where I also did my undergraduate at Northwood University, receiving a BBA in Economics, Banking & Finance and Business Management, and received the Ludwig von Mises Award, given to the university's most outstanding economics student, as well as the Arthur E. Turner Award, Northwood University's highest honor. My primary research interest is exploring the formation and enforcement of endogenous rules.
Outside of academics, I enjoy hockey, playing guitar, mountain biking, weight-lifting, running, camping, craft beer and spending time with my girlfriend Jessica, family and friends.
